After her fourth attempt of swimming from Cuba to the Florida Keys, Diana Nyad has called it quits. After numerous of dangerous encounters such as shark encounters, jellyfish attacks, and storm like weather which made her attempt even harder to complete. Making the trip with her was her crew who at time believed that she needed to end her swim but she was the one who ultimately decided to end her mission around 12 am.
After being pulled from the waters she suffered from hypothermia which caused swelling in the face,along with the toxins left from being stung nine times by the jellyfish. For more information on the story you can head here from the full article from CBS.
